The Amprobe ACDC-54NAV digital clamp meter is true RMS (root mean square) sensing, auto- or manual-ranging multimeter for measuring current, voltage. It has a clamp that measures alternating current (AC) to 1, 000 amp. The meter comes with detachable test leads that measure direct current (DC) to 1, 000 amp, AC voltage and DC voltage to 1. The clamp has two jaws that can close around an electrical conductor up to 1. 45" (37 mm) in diameter to measure current without touching or interrupting the circuit. The meter comes with a K-type thermocouple probe for measuring temperature. The meter has a joy-stick style controller that allows one-handed navigation and selection of display and features.
